University teaching experience is a cornerstone of academic development, playing a vital role in knowledge transfer and the development of students' analytical skills. My teaching experience began in 2008 with the teaching of Ancient Iraqi History at the College of Basic Education – Department of Social Studies, University of Duhok. This initial phase served as a foundation for establishing a scientific and educational approach based on interaction with students and the enhancement of their historical thinking skills.

As my academic journey progressed, my teaching expanded to encompass a diverse range of courses, including Third World History, Ancient European History, Modern American History, and Modern Iraqi History. This diversity in teaching multiple subjects contributed to a holistic understanding of history, connecting various historical events and contexts within a comprehensive analytical framework that helps students comprehend global and regional transformations.

My teaching experience also extended to teaching Kurdish Studies in several colleges, including the Colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Nursing, as well as the College of Law and the College of Evening Studies with its various departments, such as Management and Economics. This expansion reflects an ability to adapt academic material to suit diverse disciplines, thereby enhancing students' cultural awareness and intellectual identity across various fields of study.

Furthermore, the experience included teaching a course on political parties at the University of Duhok – Institute of Administration – Department of Political Science, in Arabic. This demonstrates flexibility in using academic language and the ability to convey complex political concepts in a clear and scientific manner. The teaching process continues with the teaching of a course on modern and contemporary Iraqi history in the Department of History – College of Education – University of Duhok, where the focus is on developing students' research and critical analysis skills.

Academic and professional activities are an essential part of building a scholarly career and enhancing a researcher's intellectual presence in their local and international environment. In this context, active participation in workshops organized by civil society organizations reflects a clear commitment to exchanging experiences and engaging in community development issues, thus contributing to bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical application.

Furthermore, attending and participating in scientific conferences both within and outside Iraq is a crucial pillar in developing research capabilities. This allows for exposure to the latest studies and the exchange of ideas with other researchers, which enhances the quality of scientific output and broadens the horizons of academic collaboration. Participation in the University Management Development Course held in Cyprus in 2013, organized by Eastern Mediterranean University, underscores the importance of developing administrative and leadership skills within the university environment—a vital aspect of improving the quality of higher education and keeping pace with international standards.

On another level, the focus on journalistic work highlights a cultural and intellectual dimension that complements academic activity. Working in journalism, along with membership on the editorial board of Dijlah magazine in 1998, has contributed to honing writing, analytical, and critical skills. Furthermore, belonging to the Journalists Syndicate in Kurdistan reflects an active professional presence in the media community and enhances the role of the academic in spreading awareness and knowledge outside of university frameworks.

Research interests are a cornerstone of academic development, reflecting a researcher's scholarly orientation and engagement with contemporary knowledge issues. My research interests revolve around history and politics, given their pivotal role in understanding the social and intellectual transformations societies undergo. I strive to study and analyze historical phenomena within their various temporal contexts, focusing on the interplay between political and cultural factors in shaping events and realities.

I also place particular importance on continuously reviewing recent academic research related to my specialization. This allows me to keep pace with scientific and methodological advancements in the field and enhance my ability to produce sound knowledge grounded in rigorous scientific principles. This approach is part of my commitment to developing my research skills and broadening my intellectual horizons.

Furthermore, I am keen to build bridges of scholarly communication with professors and researchers who share my interests at various Iraqi universities. This fosters a positive exchange of expertise and strengthens opportunities for collaborative research. Such communication contributes to creating an interactive academic environment that supports innovation and enriches academic discourse, ultimately serving the advancement of scientific research at the local level.

Academic supervision is a cornerstone of the university education process, playing a pivotal role in guiding students toward rigorous scientific research and developing their analytical and critical thinking skills. Since joining the teaching profession in 2008, I have been committed to supervising a significant number of graduation theses across various historical fields within my area of expertise. My aim has been to instill in students a solid foundation in scientific research and enhance their skills in utilizing sources and references.

My supervisory experience has encompassed diverse topics within the field of history, enabling me to guide students toward selecting research topics of scholarly importance, with a focus on historical research methodology based on meticulous analysis and objective critique. I have also consistently monitored students throughout the various stages of their research, from identifying the research problem and collecting and analyzing data to formulating and documenting findings according to established academic standards.

In this context, I am dedicated to fostering a supervisory environment that encourages constructive scholarly dialogue and fosters independent thinking and the development of students' research perspectives. I also seek to strengthen their commitment to the ethics of scientific research, including scientific integrity and respect for intellectual property rights.
