Last Tuesday on Jan - 16- 2025 at the clinics of college of veterinary medicine , Dr. Maryam Ibrahim Yaseen, in collaboration with Dr. Mohamed Saleem Mohamed from the Department of surgery , supervised a group of students in performing a delicate surgery on a bull suffering from a tumor in the genital area. The tumor is of the fibro papilloma type, known to be benign, but in rare cases, it can turn into a malignant tumor if not treated and monitored regularly .

The tumor was successfully removed, bleeding was controlled, and the wound was sutured. Upon follow-up, it was confirmed that there were no complications associated with the surgery. Vital signs, such as urination and erection, were normal, and the wound remained clean.
