Dec. 1, 2024, 9:31 p.m.

The Book Fair was inaugurated at the College of Veterinary Medicine last Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in collaboration between Nursin Library and the college administration. The fair lasted for three days, from November 26 to November 29. This initiative was carried out with the approval of the Dean, who supported the idea due to its importance in enhancing awareness and culture among students, staff, and employees of the college. The event also aimed to provide a recreational space within the university campus.

The fair stood out for the diversity of its displayed books, covering not only scientific fields but also other disciplines such as management, economics, history, geography, religion, personal development, psychology, sociology, and many others. Additionally, the exhibition featured a wide range of novels and stories appealing to young people, taking into account the linguistic diversity in the region. Books were available in Kurdish, Arabic, and English.

The college administration ensured discounts ranging from 20% to 30% on book prices to encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity and purchase books at affordable prices.
